DRT Tix Team

Like many great businesses, DRT Performance Tix started at a kitchen table. Co-Founder and CEO, Joshua Olson, who happened to own a Dance Competition Software company called WaeTech, was asked to create a ticketing mechanism for a client. Over a weekend he completed all the coding and DRT Performance Tix (DRT), was born.

Stephanie Suarez, Co-Founder and COO, developed DRT's processes and fulfilled many roles while the company grew. Since then, almost 13 years ago, DRT Performance Tix has shortened its name but grown immensely. Entering new markets, adding over 20 full-time staff members and finding time to stay green and give back, DRT has come a long way and can't wait to go even further.

    DRT Is Born
    Joshua Olson creates a ticketing site for a client of his dance competition software company, Waetech, and DRT is born.
  • 2013
    Party of Two
    Stephanie Suarez joins the company as Co-Owner and Chief Operations Officer.
  • 2014
    First Tradeshow
    DRT attends their first industry tradeshow.
  • 2015
    First Employee
    DRT hires their first employees and gets the keys to their first office.
  • 2018
    Scanner App
    DRT launches their free scanner app.
  • 2020
    Virtual Events
    DRT supports clients through the pandemic by offering virtual events and socially distanced seating.
  • 2022
    New Headquarters
    DRT Headquarters moves into their current office in Evans, GA.
  • 2023
    Google Wallet
    DRT adds Google Wallet to their lineup.
  • 2024
    DRT Performance Tix
    DRT officially becomes DRT Performance Tix.

The Dance Industry

We would be lying if we said Dance isn't DRT's bread and butter. DRT loves and will continue to support the dance industry with all the passion our studio owners give to their inner circles. While DRT is happy to serve organizations in other industries, you will continue to see us at industry events, posting animals in tutus, and definitely on the dance floor.

DRT Performance Tix has been lucky enough to move into additional markets in recent years. DRT is honored to support organizations in the education, public works, and performing arts industries. Our ability to help organizations create successful event sales and generate additional revenue is frankly not limited to any industry.
